 Repeat Prescriptions

We have been looking at how we can improve the service we provide for patients wishing to order repeat prescriptions.

From 1 November 2015 you can order your repeat prescription in the following ways:

You can now order your repeat prescriptions on SystemOnline. You will need to register your details with the practice and you will be given your username and password to allow you access this service. By telephoning the prescription telephone line – 01325 462762.

The prescription line will be staffed between 9.30 am and 11.30 am.  Outside of these hours you will be able to leave a message requesting your repeat prescription. This means you will be able to order your prescription at any time – no more waiting for the telephone line to open.

You will be asked to leave:

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your date of birth
  • A contact number
  • Details of the medication you require
  • By coming into  the surgery

Our preferred method is by utilising the online system.

Please allow 2 working days for your prescription to be processed. Where urgent prescriptions are requested they will only be processed at the discretion of the Doctor and you may have to wait the 2 days for the prescription to be issued.

On Line Repeat Prescriptions

You can now order your repeat prescriptions on SystemOnline. You will need to register your details with the practice and you will be given your username and password to allow you access this service.

In addition  the Practice now has the facility to offer electronic prescriptions.  This means that the Doctor can send the prescription to the place that you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

This means that you don't have to come to the surgery to collect your prescription.

You have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collectd from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop

You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as there will be time for your repeat prescription to be ready before you arrive.

Please allow 2 working days to process and an additional day if your prescription is going to a designated pharmacy.
