Nursing Team

Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Practitioners can assess and examine you, make a diagnosis and provide advice and treatment including a prescription if required. They can make referrals to consultants or other health care professionals and admit patients into hospital when necessary. They can also issue sick notes.

Qualified in 2014. Initially working on orthopaedic trauma before becoming a charge nurse on the Fragility fracture unit. In 2018 moved to Accident and Emergency as a Nurse Practitioner before finally joining the practice in 2021. I am always keen to learn more and have a keen interest in anything cardiac, respiratory and musculoskeletal issues.

Sister Nadia Cater

Qualified in 2008. Worked on an acute medical ward for the first few months, then spent 10 years in District Nursing, 3 of those years as a Specialist Practitioner in Nursing in the Home. Has spent 7 years in general practice. Is the practice Nurse Lead in Diabetes and Learning Disability. Has a keen interest in chronic wounds, leg ulcers and contraceptive health.

Sister Ashley Mulangu

Qualified in 2018 and started my career on surgical wards before working on a diabetes and endocrinology ward. I have a keen interest in diabetes, cardiovascular health and women’s health. My aim is to support you to manage your health and live well.

I have worked at the Practice since 2008. I originally started as a health care assistant and after 8 years decided to train as office manager in the Practice. In September 2023, with a wealth of experience and new skills I returned to the nursing team and trained as a GPA, taking care of annual reviews, health promotion and phlebotomy.

Pharmacists

Clinical Pharmacists are highly qualified experts in medicines and can help people in a range of ways including carrying out structured medication reviews, responding to medication requests and improving patient safety.

Graduated in 2005 as a pharmacist and relocated to UK in 2006. Worked in community pharmacy for 10 years (Lloydspharmacy, Co-op pharmacy and independent). In 2016 joined Prescribing Support Service and worked across Tees in various GP surgeries. In 2017 joined Clifton Court medical practice directly, as support and care from doctors team was exceptional. Qualified as pharmacist Independent Prescriber in 2021.
