Always an excellent service from staff in all areas of the practice.
Dr. Gibson is very thorough and very professional only problem is waiting 20/25 mins after appointment time to see a doctor
Always get an appointment when needed, and never wait long in waiting room, receptionists are always polite and helpful
The service from the reception staff nurses and doctors is always professional and to an high standard every time
Nothing else to say would not want to go another practice
No on the day appointments, had to wait over a week to be seen for a sick note. Chastised for a missed call I didn’t receive.
reply from Clifton Court :- sick notes can be renewed over the phone and can be backdated if needed so you do not always need to be seen. You can also complete an Econsult online for a sick note
Service good however just made to feel as though my problem wasn’t serious enough to come to the doctors
reply from Clifton Court :- All reception staff are trained in care navigation to enable the patient to be signposted to the most appropriate service. You may not always need to see a GP.
now I’m 57 otherwise I feel you get forgotten. Bloods, and tests for cancer etc
reply from Clifton Court :- patients of a certain age will be recalled in time to be offered health checks and vaccinations in accordance with their age or national guidelines. The computer system automatically selects these patients
I think less time on training days and staying open. People are ill 7 days a week when you are shut more pressure on A&E.
reply from Clifton Court :- Unfortunately it is out of our control when we close for staff training. This is mandatory training which we need to comply with. Provisions are always in place for times we are closed. If in any doubt we would recommend you contact 111 before attending a&e.
We have recently made some changes to our appointment system. The reason for this is to enable patients more access to a GP of their choice and more availability for pre booked appointments. It has been trailed for 3 months now and it seems to be working well. There is still an emergency team to deal with urgent medical problems that need to be seen on the day. Unfortunately due to patient’s needs, we cannot guarantee that appointments will always run on time, but we do our best to stick to a schedule
